Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies , set up in 1999, has now evolved in to a centre of excellence in the field of computer application programs. It is the first institute in the North Gujarat Region which started to offer M.C.A program . The institute was started with the donation given by the daughter of Acharya Motibhai Patel with a view to provide quality education and training in the field of IT and Computer studies.After the name of Acharya Motibhai Patel, the institute has been named as Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies.

Today the institute has become one of the most sought after destinations for the students who are seeking education in the field of Computer Applications & Information Technology.
