About Institution

Amala Public School Moothedathukavu, along with Elamkuttuchira Charitable Trust No. K609/1993 owned by Elankuttuchira family was handed over to CMISH Province, Kochi on 1st June 2006. Since then under the able leadership of Rev. Dr.Augustine Thottakkara CMI the new President of the Elamkuttuchira Trust, the Amala School moved to CBSE style of education. The Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), right from its beginning in 1831, found education one of the Principal avenues of their apostolate, and considered an educational institution a second home having close collaboration with the families of the students.
