Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College (formerly Kumaon Engineering College) is located at Dwarahat in District Almora (Uttarakhand). The foundation of the college was laid in the year 1986 by the then Govt. of Uttar Pradesh but the college started functioning in 1991. The institute is an autonomous college of Govt. of Uttarakhand. The institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. Major facilities are library, hostel, labs etc
