One such vidyalaya is our school,located at Aruna Nagar 1st Street,Srirangam - one of the most sacred 'Sthalams' dedicated to lord Vishnu. It was started in the year 1982 with a complement of 2 teachers and about 15 students mainly to cater to the educational needs of the children particularly from middle class strata. By the benevolent patronage of the managing trustees and sustained and dedicated work of the teachers, this school has grown into an institution with a vision, having about 1300 students on its rolls and nearly 65 teachers.
To offer children a value based and holistic education, which paves way for an integrated development of the physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual aspects of the personality, which is enriched by the knowledge of Indian culture and enhanced by patriotism and a universal outlook.
To mould children into young men and women of moral strength who can face all the challenges of modern life with a smile and make a difference in the world by their positive contribution.
Our Principal has got Dr. Radhakrishnan Award in the 2007.
Five batches of X standard had gained 100% result and in the year 2010 -11 our students gained District II.
Those who secured First class and distinction in X matric are awarded with Gold Coin.
We are the school who celebrate a kindergarten convocation (MiniConvocation) once they complete their UKG.
One of our old students Master Purushotaman met former President Dr. A.P.J.AbdulKalam.
One of our old students Master Abilash got Young Scientist award and presented his project in IIT Delhi.
Our School Physical Teacher Mr. M. Boopathi is the Secretary in Trichy District Games Association.

Mobile teaching Aid (Smart class) on wheels – A TV on wheels facility is given for all the classes to learn the academic classes effectively and Interestingly.
We prepare our own book materials for co-curricular and extra-curricular activity materials and handwriting materials.
In the year 2002-03 our school students has got District III award in the Jawaharlal Nehru National Level Science Exhibition.
We have invited Trichy based freedom fighters and Retd Army officials to share their experiences among students to inculcate the freedom thrust .
