Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh Educational Society was established mainly for imparting education to all the communities. It is a registered body and now running five educational institutions namely Khalsa Senior Secondary School (Faridkot), Dasmesh Public School (Faridkot), Dasmesh Public School (Kotkapura), Dasmesh Public School (Bargadi), Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot & 100 bedded multispeciality Dasmesh General Hospital. The Society is working for social, cultural and physical changes for all the people.
Having been established in 1992, Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot will go down in the annals of dentistry as the first Institution of Malwa region of Punjab in the private sector. The brains behind this venture, who are none other than its Chairman S. Karnail Singh Doad and Director Dr. Gursevak Singh will always be remembered by those who value dentistry and love Punjab.
The college had its own quota of teething troubles, but having got over them all, it now nestles in a state-of-the-art type magnificent four-storey, four-crore worth building that serves as a light-house amidst vast sea of dental-ailment prone five sandy districts of the region.
Over a decade-long life, this service oriented Institution has best academic, Dental training, co-curricular and sports environment as a result whereof its scholars have been winning laurels in all the fields of their evolvements like examinations, conferences & sports tournaments organized by the University and Dental Colleges located in & outside Punjab.
These miraculous attainments of this rather young Institution could not have been possible without the highly qualified, experienced, motivated and committed faculty ably headed, earlier by the founder Principal Dr. Manohar Singh, a renowned Orthodontist, by the Former Principals Dr. Malkiat Singh, the first-ever Oral Surgeon of Punjab, Dr. Neeru Singh, a renowned Doctor of Pedodontia and now by Principal Dr. Surinder Pal Singh Sodhi a renowned Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Implantologist and member of Dental Council of India, New Delhi
Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh Khalsa High School was established on1955 by persons of eminent status in public service, administration,medical,legal, military ,educational and other professions and they had been people of integrity honorable social standing, proven leadership and sound managerial acumen. The society is time tested, well known highly esteemed institution of this area. Founder president of society was S. Col Narian Singh of erstwhile state of Faridkot .After this S. Gurdail Singh Sekhon IAS (Revenue Secretary Pepsu), Master Sunder Singh Brar (Great Freedom Fighter) and Present President S. Karnail Singh Doad (Former Chairman Marketing Board Punjab & Ex MLA Faridkot).Among its members had been Justice Bhupinder Singh Dhillion of Punjab & Haryana High Court S, Jasmat Singh Dhillion Former MLA Faridkot, Bhai Shaminder Singh Former MP Faridkot. Dr Prithipal Singh MS Retd. DHS Punjab and S. Amrik Singh Executive Director (GEC) presently S. Gurdev Singh Brar IAS Former Managing Director Suger Fed Punjab and Brig Parmpal Singh Gill are serving this society with dedication and whole heartedly.
