The ethos of the school is rightly captured in its motto In Omnia Paratus - or - “prepared for all challenges”, and this is achieved through a unique and well-defined curriculum, as well as a strong emphasis on "learning beyond the classroom".
The medium of instruction at Indus is English and the curricula offered are the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program from Prep to Grade 5; the Middle School Programme from Grade 6 to Grade 8; the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Grades 9 and 10; and the IB Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12.
Spread over a sprawling 40-acre campus in Bangalore, India's intellectual capital, Indus International School provides state-of-the-art facilities for academics and sports, and a truly world-class ambience.
The school is nurtured by the CEO and the Board of Trustees comprised of thought leaders in various fields ranging from Engineering, Information Technology and Manufacturing to Real Estate and Hospitality, among others.
Indus International School, Bangalore came into existence in July 2003 at Sarjapur near Bangalore, and is the brainchild of the Indus Trust.
Indus International School was established with an ennobling vision: creating the leaders of the future, by imparting holistic education, in an environment of excellence, where students and faculty from different parts of the world come together for the purpose of learning. The faculty, teaching pedagogy and facilities are of truly world-class standards which kindle a love for learning, a respect for cultural diversity and a strong sense of social responsibility among the students.
The curriculum at Indus International School facilitates the application of such values both within the classroom and outside it, in real-life situations. The 'Citizenship' curriculum has evolved from a concept of multidimensional citizenship education, wherein both the school and the community collaborate as partners in the learning process.
