When I look at ‘impossible’ it tells I’M Possible. This would describe my journey of life and times at K.R.Rawal School. When I joined with Mr. Rajendra Rawal to start a school way back in 2001, it was something to keep me occupied, something connected to society; never thought the journey would get so intense and personal. The one-room establishment soon consumed time; we walked through the streets and gullys of Ranip community to meet parents, guardians and other people to understand the needs better. This required commitment; we invested more and more time, staff joined, teachers joined, buildings grew, the community noticed a good intentioned school and student strength swelled. We were encouraged by the thumping response to our commitment to create the best school in Ranip area. K.R.Rawal school produced results, telling results, year after year. 10 years saw us to be the most talked about school in Ranip. For me, my team and the trustees this is 24x7 job now!
What makes us different? What made us No.1 in Ranip? Constant dialogue with teachers, students, parents and guardians and research on correct principles of pedagogy. Being clear of what we want to become and the path to do that. Constant investment in teacher and student development and continuous interaction with all stake holders.
My own personal struggle to learn more got me many awards, accolades, academic achievements, certificates in self-training and a PhD in “Multiple Intelligence application in schools”. An exciting story of challenges, struggles, winning and cheering. Our students mirror our model and make us proud by being winners in most competitions.
The association with Shri Rajendra Rawal, the Managing Trustee of this school was destined, a meeting of like-minded people. He was starting a school and wanted a core team; I joined, we generated a care team and a family like bonding evolved.
