About Institution

Mewar College of Engineering (MCE) has been established to train the creative scientist or engineer urgently needed in our educational, professional, and industrial development. Towards this mission, MCE is objective bound to provide aspiring students with a broad-based foundation in engineering and to help students in developing skills and knowledge in technical areas with practical value in the work place. In addition to technical expertise, the program also strives to develop in each student essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, project management, professional ethics, problem solving and an appreciation of the importance of contemporary issues and life-long intellectual growth.
Mewar College of Engineering has the unique distinction of being the only college in the district of Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). The college is an affiliated college of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and its all the courses are recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), a central regulatory body for technical education.
The College is situated in lap of the beautiful Aravali ranges and spread over sprawling campus of 30 acres at Gangrar, District Chittorgarh, (Rajasthan) just 12 km away from the city limits of Chittorgarh. The college can be easily approached from road and railway network as it is situated on NH 76 (Delhi-Mumbai Highway) and connected with all the major cities through broad-gauge lines. The campus is divided into various functional zones like Academic and Administrative Block, Hostels and Residential complex for faculty and staff cover an area exceeding 1,25,000 sq. ft. It has co-educational facilities with hostel accommodation. The well laid out campus provides all facilities for cultural, recreation and sports along with academics.
The College is backed by the rich experience of sponsoring society that boasts of successfully running and managing various courses of professional and higher education through its other Institutes namely Mewar Girls Institute of Management & Technology (MGIMT) and Mewar Institute of Management (MIM), the institutes are ranked as one of the best institution in the Mewar region (Rajasthan) and Ghaziabad (UP) respectively.
