Students seeking admissions to engineering, medical and dental colleges at the undergraduate level can now opt for a common online entrance test to get into select Indian colleges. The Education Rating and Assessment Foundation, a non-profit, has launched the Uni-GAUGE-EMed examination, which provides pan-India, computer-aided assessment platform for multiple universities.

The first examination for UG courses is scheduled on April 26, 2015 and will be held in about 60 cities simultaneously. The test for PG medical and dental courses was conducted earlier on February 14.
