The era of great legend comes to an end. The former president well known as the “Missile Man of India  Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam died due a severe cardiac arrest during a lecture at the IIM in Shillong on Monday evening.

He was admitted into the ICU of Bethany hospital in a critical condition following the collapse at around 6.30 pm was confirmed dead  after two hours.

Kalam is the most popular president of india well known as “ The People’s President “ .He was very fond of children .kalam utilized every opportunity to address students especially school students. He was loved by every one in india for his wisdom for knowledge that cuts through religion.

Kalam asked every student to dream their destiny make steps to achieve it . He was the brain behind Pokhran nuclear test in 1998.Kalam was the chief scientific adviser to Vajpayee. Many of his work made India excel in missile technology .Kalam fought constantly to inspire youth of the nation. 

On his loss whole india mourns as an incomparable loss to humanity. President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and leaders condoled the demise of the former President.

Paying a tribute to kalam PM Modi had said, "My mind is filled with so many memories, so many interactions with him. Always marvelled at his intellect, learnt so much from him."

Government of India announced as a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days state mourning will be observed throughout India from July 27, 2015 to August 2, 2015, both days inclusive," .
