Dewan Bahadur Padma Rao Mudaliar Degree College is managed by the Keyes Education Society. The Society with more than 125 years of tireless effort in promoting women’s education has established the Keyes High School, Veeraswamy Kindergarten, and Keyes Junior College.In the centenary year of Keyes High School 1981-82 the DBPM college was established culminating the efforts of Mrs. Bhagyalaxmi Natarajan the then Honorary Secretary of Keyes Education Society.The college was named after her father-in-law Shri Padma Rao Mudaliar, a founder member of Keyes High School and a prominent figure who made immense contributions towards worthy and noble causes.
