The Trust, Ajay Binay Institute of Technology - Piloo Mody College of Architecture (PMCA), was born in the year 1985 in the memory of Shri Ajay Bhuyan and Shri Binay Mishra, Ex-Presidents of the Orissa Small Scale Industries Association to promote professional education in the state. It was subsequently registered under the Registration of Societies Act 1860 bearing No. 19009/47 of 1987-88.
It is being managed under the dynamic leadership of Ar. K.B.Mohapatra a successful entrepreneur and educationist who has contributed immensely for the development and awareness of the architectural profession and education in Orissa.
He was the Ex-Chairman of I.I.A., Orissa Chapter and was the President of the Council of Architecture. The Trust, Ajay Binay Institute of Technology, (ABIT), Piloo Mody College of Architecture was born in the year 1985 to promote professional education in the state of Orissa.

ABIT, a charitable Trust, has been set up with missionary zeal, devotion and dedication to produce Architects, Engineering, Technologists, Managers and Technicians in various disciplines keeping in mind the present industrial scenario of the state of Orissa.
