About Institution

The college is situated in a vast expanse of green land located in a semi-urban area of sub-district head-quarter Gangapur City in the eastern part of Rajasthan which is much backward and peopled with SC, ST and OBC classes. The college began its infancy with 52 students at under graduate level since then it has been ceaselessly mounting over the path of progress in its student strength as well as in the buildinginfra-structure. It has been provided 90% Grant-in-aid by the State. Govt. since 199495. It has acquired affiliation for conducting Post-Graduation classes in 1995-96 and then and 12B. In the academic session 2003-04 the college has started Science faculty at graduation level. It has started PG level courses in Hindi, Sanskrit, (from 1995-96) in English (from 2006-2007). It has acquired affiliation for commerce faculty at graduation level in the academic session 2011-12 and at PG level in History, Political Science, Physics and Mathematics in the current session 2014-15. The college became self financing in the academic session 2011-12 because of the decision of the State Government to merge all the aided college staff into Government service.
This premier college has been promoting higher education and catering the needs of the young women of the eastern part of Rajasthan for a period of 25 Years. In the current year the total strength of the college is 1017. This is the intrinsic strength of the college paving path to National integration.
The college is marching successfully towards the completion of its Silver Jubilee (within 25 years). In all these years it has acquired prestige and status in the academic as well as extra-curricular activities in the whole Aravali belt covering the area of eastern Rajasthan. It has now become one of the best women-colleges of University of Kota, Kota.
