Amalambika Convent English School, Thekkady is run by the Congregation of Teresian Carmelite (CTC) siters. The CTC Congregation is the embodiment of the dream and vision of Mother Eliswa who was a 19th century educationist and social reformer. Education has been a major thrust of CTC congregation from its very inception. The CTC sisters have the rich tradition of setting up and running quality educational institutions all over India.
