It has been established in 1983 and presently offers undergraduate & post graduate courses with annual intake of 720 & 198 respectively.The institution- one of the few rural colleges has the coveted honor of accreditation from NBA an AICTE wing for quality assurance, New Delhi,in 2003, when majority of well established institutions were not even daring to apply for accreditation. Continuing this trend of quality education, the institute has undergone for renewal of accreditation in year2007 and 2012-13.
The college has progressed in leaps and bounds and is undergoing a continuous process of improvement in all aspects of curricular and extracurricular activities. One can experience a polarization of facilities and resources of metro setting as well as peace, environment and true nature of the rural setting on this campus.
