About Institution

Annai Women’s College is brain child of the Trustees of Annai Sri Aurobindo Educational Trust (ASAET), Karur. The trust was incepted in the year 2006 with lofty ideals of giving higher education in Arts and Science and Paramedical Education to the young women living in and around Karur. The college was started with an objective of offering job oriented courses such as B.Com., (Computer Applications), B.Sc., (Computer Science), B.Sc., (Mathematics), BCA., (Bachelor in Computer Application) and also traditionally popular courses like B.A.,(Tamil Literature), and B.A (English Literature). The college is affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. B.B.A., degree course was introduced from the academic year 2010 - 2011 Affiliation is awaited for post graduate degree course in English and Commerce CA., from 2010- 2011.
