Annoor Dental College & Hospital, Muvattupuzha was founded in the year 2003 by Late, Janab T. M. Seethy Haji, who was an illustrious and industrious business person hailing from Muvattupuzha. He enjoyed commendable social reputation as a philanthropist and social reformer. Besides his expertise in managing a wide range of business establishments, he had about four decades of experience in the field of education. This expertise and quest for furthering excellence in professional education persuaded him to start the dental college & hospital with the sole aim of imparting quality education in dentistry and also to provide good health and well being to all sections of the society, as the primary well being of an individual starts with good oral health. Consequent to the sad demise of the Founder Chairman Late Janab T. M . Seethy Haji on May 10th 2009, the board was reconstituted with Mr. Basheer T. S as the Chairman. He is associated with the college from its inception, as Director.The college motto \"As One Who Serves\" is practiced in strict sense to ensure that excellence and service prevail in every aspect of operation. To translate this into reality and practice, the Chairman is ably supported by a team of professionals, both at the administrative and academic levels.The administrative front, is handled by Adv. Rasheed T.S. as Chairman (Administration) and Mr. Binyamine T.S as Director (Finance). The academic front has an experienced and dedicated team of faculty headed by Prof. Dr. Amarender Vadivelu, a renowned Periodontist, as Principal. The team acts as a friend and mentor to the students and every effort is taken to impart holistic education. The effort has yielded fruit and students adorn top ranks.

The institute functions as a center of excellence for professional education, so that the graduate of the Institute not only excels in their chosen field but also develops ethical values and character to provide relief to all sections of the society, irrespective of cast and creed
