Army Public School has a glorious history. This school started with just one section of class VIth with 12 boys and 01 girl in the year 1981 under the Awwa scheme.Today it boasts of being one of the best educational institutions in the country nurturing and molding the young minds and talents.

Vision

Army Public School, Bangalore is a co-educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school was established in the year 1980 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society. The school has been catering to the educational requirement of the children of Army personnel with uncompromising emphasis on quality education. We are alive to the fact that all cannot be outstanding scholars but we are committed to inspire both the gifted student and the less gifted ones so that they rise to their true potential. Lest the less gifted ones find themselves at sea in a fiercely competitive modern world, we aim to counsel them into distinguishing themselves into fields where academic excellence is not the sole criteria. We believe that our school has the obligation to inculcate the spirit of accommodation, patience and tolerance, which are so essential in today’s world bedeviled by intolerance and fear of each other. Together with this the school carries the responsibility of providing all possible opportunities to our students to enable them to enjoy school life through games, sports and extra curricular activities so that the golden years of their lives become truly productive, enjoyable and memorable.
