About Institution

Assannagar Madan Mohan Tarkalankar College was established in the year 2007 with permission of the W.B.C.H.E‚ and is affiliated to the University of Kalyani. It started its first session with pass course in Humanities. However in the very next session honors course in Bengali and History were started. In 2009 honours courses in English and Sanskrit were introduced and in pass course Education and Philosophy were also introduced. The college has a department of Physical Education as well.
