Established On : 2000
The African Students’ Association (ASA) has been in existence on Truman State University’s campus since the year 2000. The mission of ASA is to act as a vessel of reference to inquiring minds interested in African issues/topics as well as to be a source of camaraderie to the incoming/outgoing African students of Truman State University. Through the production of events throughout each academic year, ASA contributes to TSU’s diversity. As part of the executive team our goals include but are not limited to: perpetuating the growth of the organization, collaborating with other campus organizations, increasing the variety of events, and raising awareness of the African continent on Truman’s campus.
