Our 2015 Members' Show was featured at the Louis Bay 2nd Library, 345 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, NJ during the month of May. The winners were selected by nationally known artist Pat Weaver and they are: Best in Show, Rolf Hellmich for his watercolor 'Abandoned Baskets' ; Second Prize, Sandra Piatti for her Acrylic, 'Maria'; Third Prize went to Debra Manders for her mixed media 'Hovering between Past and Future. The Sally Logue winner was Glenda Haas, watercolor titled 'Sycamore, Kew Garden, featured above; and Honorable Mention went to Nora Winn for 'Seaside After Sandy; Joyce Kanyuk for "Morey Ridge, and Peri Karkheck for "The Hat Lady'. All three were watercolor. More photos of the winning works will be featured in the weeks to come. This exhibit is our final event of the 2014/2015 season. We look forward to more exciting demos and workshops in our new season beginning the second Tuesday in September, 2015.

CAA is a non-profit organization open to all artists and art enthusiasts. We have 100 plus members from northern New Jersey and lower New York State. The Association was incorporated in 1965 to answer to the needs of artists in Allendale and the surrounding communities. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May at the Archer Church, 37 E. Allendale Ave., Allendale, NJ. Meetings feature painting demonstrations by well known local artists. The Association also sponsors workshops, which are open to members and non-members. To learn more, go the the "JOIN" page.
