"The Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association team has created this Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni web site with the help of lots of its members. The need arose as GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR, INDIA does not have an official website for its alumnus. In addition to putting up an updated listing of all the members of GNDU Alumni Association, we plan to include information that would help GNDU alumnus find jobs and related career resources around the world. Also included would be other information that would be useful to the alumni. GNDUAA encourages you to send us feedback.The idea to form Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association (GNDUAA) was first mooted in 1997. The main purpose of setting up GNDUAA was/is to:
• Provide a forum to facilitate greater interaction among the GNDU Alumni all over the world.
• Help GNDU pass-outs to find jobs, higher education opportunities in India, Australia, Canada, US, UK
and around the world.
• Relive nostalgic memories of the Alumni during their studentship days at Guru Nanak Dev University.
• Keep the GNDU tradition and the Punjabiat alive.
Among others who made outstanding contribution in establishing the GNDUAA on its sound footings include:
• Sameer Bandhu (Planning)
• Harjinder Singh (Planning)
• Rajinder Hundal (Business Management)
• Simar Goraya (Planning)
• Bikramjeet Singh Sekhon (Planning)
• Anshuman Sharma (Planning)
• Surjeet Singh Gill (Mathematics & Computer Science)
Most of them continue to be associated with the GNDUAA and are known as its Founder Members. They provide direction to the Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association (GNDUAA) from time to time.
On 24 November 2005 - the foundation day of our Alma Mater - the Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association (GNDUAA) launched its new web site http://www.gnduaa.org and replaced its old website.
The Association remains in touch with its members through its new web site and eNewsletter entitled The X-GNDUITE.All the X-GNDUITES spread all over the world – India, Australia, Canada, UK, USA and Europe - are encouraged by the Team GNDUAA to enrol themselves with the Alumni Association and contribute to its further growth.Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association (GNDUAA) is neither recognized nor endorsed by GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR, PUNJAB, INDIA and is therefore not responsible for any information on its website, although it is our endeavor to present upto date and correct information.
