The Parent Teachers Association of HPS was in existence more than 40 years. And its first president was Late.Sri D.A.Shaw. It was formally registered as a society under the societies registration act in the year 1996 under registration number 2685 of 1998.
The Objectives of the PTA Society Include
To promote the all-round development and training of the students of the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet

To promote the welfare of children in home, school and community.
To raise the standard of the school life of the children.
To secure adequate laws for the care, education and protection of children.
To secure co-operation of parents and teachers in the training of the child.
To secure representation and participation in the management and activities of the School.
