Avanthi Isntitute of Engineering and Technology, Makavarapalem, Visakhapatnam was established during the academic year 1999-2000 with the approval of ACITE, New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution is Permanently affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada and is accredited by NBA. It is in the process of obtaining NBA accreditation renewal and NAAC accreditation.
