Jyoti Randhawa is an Indian professional golfer who joined the profession in the year 1994. He has been ranked in the top 100 World players between 2004 and 2009 thus becoming one of the hottest Indian Golf player. He was married to Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh in 2005 and couple divorced most recently in November 2013. They have been married for the past 12 years and the couple has a 5-year old son. The professional golfer has achieved 10 professional Tour wins till now, which includes 8 Asian Tour wins, one Japan Tour win -Suntory Open in 2003 and The DLF Masters (India) 2007. He has also represented India for many amateur and professional tours as a team member. He is the second highest ranked Indian in world golf rankings, the first being Jeev Milkha Singh.
Jyoti Singh Randhawa was born on 4 May 1972 in New Delhi. Randhawa was a natural athlete right from the very beginning. He excelled in sports from childhood days. He won the national sub-junior title in the year 1986 and from there on he took golf as his profession. He started his professional career in 1994 and participated on the Asian Tour and the European Tour. He has been a regular participant of Asian PGA Tour. In 1998 and 1999, he became the Hero Honda Master consecutively and after that there was turning back. He won Indian Open in 2000. In 2002, he finished first in the Asian Tour money list. His tie in the 2004 Johnnie Walker Classic is regarded as one of his best performances till now. He has been a consistent and hardworking golfer till now. In 2004, he received the Arjuna Award for his performance.
