Hans Rosling (born 27 July 1948) is a Swedish medical doctor, academic, statistician and public speaker. He is Professor of International Health at Karolinska Institute and co-founder and chairman of the Gapminder Foundation, which developed the Trendalyzer software system.He receive 2014 The Royal Patron´s Medal from the Royal Geographical Society of London for the encouragement and development of the public understanding of geographical data and influencing decision makers across the world.
