Atiur Rahman (born 13 December 1953) is a Bangladeshi economist and author, currently serving as the Governor of Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of the country.In 2014, he received 'GUSI Peace Prize International 2014' for his work in the field of economics focusing on the welfare of poor people.
