Christopher Martin Dobson (born 8 October 1949) is a British chemist, who is the John Humphrey Plummer Professor of Chemical and Structural Biology at the University of Cambridge, and Master of St John's College, Cambridge.He received Dr. H.P. Heineken Prize for Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2014 for uncovering the manner in which proteins in the human body sometimes misfold themselves and how that process may lead to age-related diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and type-2 diabetes.
