Anthony Rex Hunter (born 23 August 1943) is a British-American biologist who is a Professor of Biology at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and the University of California, San Diego. His research publications list his name as Tony Hunter.He won Royal Medal in 2014 for his discovery of tyrosine phosphorylation by src protein kinase that revolutionised our understanding of cellular signal transduction.
