About Institution

Shri. Basaveshwar Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha,, established by His Holiness Shri. Gurubasava Mahaswamiji of Bilur in 1906, runs more than 100 educational institutions ranging from pre-primary to post-graduation.To meet the technical education needs, B.V.V.S. Polytechnic was established by Sangha in 1958 under Grant-in-Aid code with three engineering branches. Presently the polytechnic offers eight Engg. Diploma Courses and One Non-Engineering Diploma Course. Sine 1999, the institution is academically autonomous. Five courses are Accredited by AICTE-NBA. New Delhi
