Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (BBDNIIT) is a well-known higher education institution of Uttar Pradesh, established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Governing Society Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology, (formerly Smt Vidyawati Devi Babu Ramji Lal Educational Society). The institute boasts of picturesque campus, spread over sprawling land in the midst of serene and pleasant environment of Lucknow and has splendid infrastructure, equipped with all modern facilities. BBDNIIT is affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow, and duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
