About Institution

Baldev Institute of Management, Technology and Sciences (BIMTAS) was established in 2008 under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust. The Institute is named after late Thakur Baldev Singh Chib, and eminent educationist and a saintly and social figure who dedicated his life for the cause of humanity and upliftment of the poor and down –trodden people. The Institute is affiliated to the University of Jammu. BIMTAS imparts instructions in Master in Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)

The Institute aims to provide a viable and excellent Centre of learning in higher education, imparting quality teaching in professional courses. The Endeavour is to prepare men and women with strong conceptual foundation backed by practical insight and awareness of the needs for initiative and leadership to meet career opportunities. The aim of the Institute is to give competitive education by introducing innovative methods of learning and prepare the students to meet today's challenges while inculcating in them qualities of good citizen and of a good human being.

Eligibility
: The course is open to a candidate who has qualified Higher Secondary Part-II examination in Commerce (10+2) pattern of J&K Board of School Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to. A candidate with commerce subjects having being placed under re-appear in one subject only of 10+2 examination is allowed admission provisionally and the result of such candidate shall be declared only after he/she clears the backlog of 10+2 within prescribed chances. A candidate who has qualified 10+2 examination in stream other than commerce can also seek admission in the course provided he has secured 45% marks in case of General Category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST Category.
Admission Procedure
: Admission is done by the Institute as per the notification issued by the University of Jammu. At the time of admission the candidate has to accompanied by his/her guardian and submit the following documents: - 1.Seven copies of pass-port size photographs. 2.Three copies of marks card of 10th class and Date of Birth Certificate. 3.Four copies of marks card of 10+2 examination. 4.Provisional Certificate or School/College leaving Certificate. 5.Character Certificate. 6.Migration Certificate in case the candidate who has qualified 10+2 examination from boards other than J&K Board of School Education. 7.Affidavit to be submitted by a candidate who has break in his studies.

: The course is open to a candidate who has qualified Higher Secondary Part-II examination (10+2) pattern of J&K Board of School Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with at least 45% of aggregate marks in case of General Category and 40% marks in case of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe candidates.
Admission Procedure
: For admission to the course the candidate has to apply to the Director College Development Council (DCDC), University of Jammu. The DCDC conducts the councelling and allot the college/institution as per the preference of the candidate, however, subject to the availability of seats in the College/Institute. The admission fee is to be paid at the time of councelling through a Bank Draft as required in favour of Director College Development Council, University of Jammu. At the time of admission in the Institute the candidate has to be accompanied by his/her guardian.
