The script in Sanskrit "Tamaso Maa Jotiragamaya" at the lower maximum of the crest that speks.
O God! LEAD ME FROM DRAKNESS TO LIGHT is the motto of our crest. The lighted lamp on the open book signfies the light of wisdom which dispels the gloom of ignorance and liberates the soul from the bondage of darkness.
