BSET has carved for itself an assured and distinctive place among the technical Institutions nation wide, attracting students from all over the country because of its pursuit of quality education. There is always an attempt to update the systems and labs to keep pace with the changing sophistication of technology. The B.Tech. and MBA programs offered by the Institute are recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology(BPUT), Orissa. Diploma Engineering is approved by AICTE and affiliated to SCTE&VT, Orissa.ITC is affiliated to NCVT, New Delhi. Each Academic program is functioning in different independent network of buildings.

BSET Diploma Wing was established in the year 1982. It has a well planned campus with pollution free environment. It is located at Barapada, on the outskirts of Bhadrak . BSET has emerged as a pioneer venture in the field of Technical Education.

Aesthetically built buildings, well furnished classrooms / lecture halls, library, workshop, computer labs, Internet facility, conference halls, auditorium, laboratories and spacious play ground, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, intramural-extracurricular facilities and hostels in the campus, offer an ideal environment for pursuit of a professional career. The campus is landscaped in a wonderful match of buildings and gardens that exude a feeling of peace and tranquility. The Institute stands in a huge lush green campus, more than 100 acres of land out of which 20 Acres are earmarked for Diploma Engineering Institute.
