About Institution

Beachwood School started as Kids Camp - the kindergarten section - with less than 10 staff and students on 4th August 2004 after the school was inaugurated by Shri. Bansa Gopal Chowdhury, MIC, Higher & Technical Education and Chairman, Asansol Durgapur Development Authority on 17th July 2004. Today the school is a full fledged day and boarding school with nearly 450 students and staff.
Ever since inception, the school emphasized on balanced development. Learning from life always was considered more important than from the textbooks. Emotional and social skill development was considered more important than intellectual development. Skill and attitude focus was considered as more important than just focusing on knowledge without ever applying it. The school aims to provide a greater 'market-connect' to the children on how to survive and excel in a dynamic ever-changing global perspective. The school believes that a balanced mix of knowledge, skills and attitude would help its alumni to succeed in marketplace of tomorrow. And is, therefore, set out to provide a strong foundation for the development of skills that are necessary for survival, growth and excellence.

Mission

Quality is the central thread that weaves all the activities related to the school in the spheres of academics, management and welfare. Processes are being developed for all the activities and goals would be achieved through continual process improvements.
