There are number of books available on the Subject of Water Supply Engineering, but it is observed that each of these books is lacking in one respect or the other. Thus none of the books that are available on the subject is complete in all respects. This has prompted the author to bring out a book on this subject. Alike author’s earlier two books namely “Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics” and “Irrigation Water Resources and Water Power Engineering”, this book entitled “Water Supply Engineering” is also a complete text book on the subject. The various topics have ben explained in simple language. It contains detailed information based on the latest Indian Standards. The text has been supplemented by a large number of solved illustrative examples and equally large number of problems.
