It gives me heartfelt pleasure and great satisfaction in saying that after going through an arduous journey, mostly uphill that a young dedicated team of professionals has been able to achieve the goal of making BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan functional. It is the first college in the medical field meant only for girls in Haryana and 3rd in the country in Govt. sector. The college has the most modern infrastructure and is strategically located between the two highways The G.T. Road & NH 71(A). It is well connected by road & rail and is only an hour?s drive from New Delhi.We are proud of having world class infrastructure no less than any corporate hospital in the country, built up with the cost of Rs. 385 crores on 100 acres of land, which is equipped with state of art machinery and equipments and very knowledgeable dedicated people to raise the traditional ethos of medical profession. The hospital is running with its full capacity of 450 beds with modular operation theaters, state of art ICU, air conditioned OPD block, Blood Bank & Central laboratory. With full commitment and dedication of all categories of Doctors and Staff, the Institution is providing excellent services to the poor and rich alike.After an intense inspection carried out in Mar, 2012 by four MCI Assessors, history was created when the MCI, without raising a single objection for compliance, gave permission to admit 100 girl students to the College. This dream project of Hon?ble Chief Minister Sh. Bhupender Singh Hooda Ji saw the light of the day with his blessings & kind guidance of the experienced academicians & support of the Government. Today 100 girl?s students have been admitted to pursue MBBS education in our institution and the first step of a 5-year long journey is complete. What we have been able to achieve till now has made me more determined to make greater efforts to develop the ?Infant? institution in to a fully grown ?adult? that is ?committed to make a difference? to medical education and imparting world class health care services.The mission of Institution is to strive to provide and sustain international standard health care services to foster academic and clinical excellence as one of the leading institution in rural settings for preparing young girls for glorious, prestigious and noble medical career, improving research attitude and skill in the staff and faculty members and providing best affordable treatment option to the people of rural areas. The most arduous task is to create the atmosphere of brotherhood & feeling of ownership towards the Institution in the students, staff and faculty members.
