About Institution

B.V.V.S College of Education was established in 2004-05 academic year. It is situated in the district head quarter and has independent building. B.V.V. Sangha manages the institution. It is a reputed good old institution catering to the needs of northern part of Karnataka State. The college has good infrastructure. It has Library, E.T Lab, Science Lab, Computer Lab, etc and facility of Modern Electronic Gadgets to each and every classrooms. Our institution has collaborated through MOU with Saginaw Valley State University Michigan, USA. The experts from S.V.S University are paying periodical visits to our college and they are taking interest in developing relationship with the institution for the 4 years. The curricular offerings are systematically provided to the students as a result of which the student has established better performance in the University examination. The nationally reputed IGNOU, New Delhi has established Study Centre in our college for B.Ed course for the in service school teachers. It is a real credit for the development of the institution.
B.V.V.Sangha’s Board of Management sought permission from NCTE to establish P.G. Department of Education in the year 2009-10 and got the permission with the intake of 25 students and in the academic year 2010-11 the University as well as NCTE, by seeing the well equipped building and full pledged staff, extended the intake from 25 to 35 students. Till today P.G. Department is running successfully.
In the year 2009-10 our student got Gold Medal for scoring highest marks from KU Dharwad, this first step of success made us to secure all the 3 ranks announced by RCU, Belagavi for the year 2010-11, and in the year 2011-12 our student got II rank to the University.
