He is founder trustee and Chairman of Dr.Chandrashekar Foundation. He is a well known leading surgeon in the city of Mysore. He is specialized in Endoscopy & Laparoscopy (Keyhole Surgery). He obtained MBBS from University of Gulbarga in the year 1990 and completed his MS in the year 1996 from Bangalore University. He has undergone training for Endoscopy & Laparoscopy (Keyhole Surgery) at AV Hospital, Bangalore.After his MS, he worked as Senior Registrar at R N Cooper Hospital and KEM Medical College, Mumbai which is one of the reputed trauma centre in India. Later he joined as Lecturer at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellur, Mandya and worked for two years.
