Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panniwala Mota was formally inaugurated on 26 September, 2003.
It is named after Ch. Devi Lal, the former deputy Prime Minister of India and also the former Chief Minister of Haryana.
The Chaudhary Devi Lal Memorial Government Engineering College, Panniwala Mota, Sirsa was established to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of Engineering education with focus on new frontiers of technology, and to achieve excellence in the connected fields.
The college is situated at Panniwala Mota, district Sirsa (Haryana). It is about 270 Kms. from Delhi on Delhi-Sirsa- Fazilka National Highway (NH-10) and 22 Kms. from Sirsa on Sirsa-Dabwali road. It is at a distance of about 250 Kms. from Chandigarh. It is well connected by road.
