Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam founded in 2004 and managed by the Chettinad Raja family is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, offering classes from pre-primary to X. It has a student strength of 875. The curricular and co-curricular programs at Hari Shree are aimed at offering intellectually challenging learning environments for the holistic growth of the individual. The school incorporates various cultural forms into its curriculum to enrich the child’s experience and help them assimilate values while being rooted in our culture. Students are encouraged to serve the community by taking part in community projects relevant to their respective grades; these projects are a part of the regular school curriculum. The involvement of students from across the grades in a wide range of activities both within and outside the institution nurtures and enhances the innate-learning predisposition of the child, thereby fostering in the child a lifelong love for learning. The school also promotes awareness among children regarding the preservation and conservation of the environment through nature clubs, exhibitions, campaigns, etc.
