David Hare Teachers' Training College was established in the year 2008, affiliated to the University of Gour Banga and approved by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

The College is co-educational and at present has a capacity of 100. The College possess an efficient infrastructure which includes spacious and well lit classrooms, Science laboratories , language lab, computer room, recreation room, auditorium, and a spacious ground. The College has a well-stocked library possessing a rich collection of reference books and journals that cover the B.Ed syllabus as well as 24hrs Broadband internet facility provided, sponsored by 'The Network Resource Centre' (NRC) scheme sponsored by UGC.
