About Institution

The Discovery Institute of Polytechnic (DIP) is a self-financing Polytechnic College, was established in 2012, offering 3-years Diploma course in various fields of engineering.It is approved by AICTE & affiliated to WBSCTE. Our Institution conducts job oriented courses with a view to the more practical approach of current days industry- need. More over in the present system, there is an opportunity to the Diploma holders for getting admission directly into the second year of the respective degree courses(B.Tech/BE) through lateral entry. Experienced teachers using modern teaching aids deliver lectures to the students. Fully equipped laboratories and workshops have been provided in the field of practical classes. Sufficient qualified Teachers / Instructors / Laboratory Assistants have been engaged in this polytechnic college.Special attention has been given to the weaker students and tutorial classes are being held regularly.
