At a ceremony in London, Ashish Dabral a Gurgaon-based techie with British Telecom, was awarded the best volunteer among 10 other finalists nominated from across the globe. He said that he have a plan to use his price amount Rs 1 lakh to buy a school van for their kindergarten students as most of them travel/walk 4-5 kilometres every day to reach the school. Also, this van will generate employment for at least two people of remote Himalayan villages.
