In order to focus on increasing incidents of terrorism globally, some universities have started advanced and specialised courses on "Terrorism Studies", "Security Studies"; "Homeland Security" and "Counter Terrorism". Chandigarh based Department of Defence and National Security Studies of Punjab University is offering a one year post-graduate diploma course in Homeland Security. These courses will enable us to oppose terrorism and protect our nation from terrorists.
