The Union HRD Minister is planning to launch the new scheme Shaala ASMITA, an acronym for All School Monitoring Individual Tracking and Analysis. This scheme will be helpful to track the academic performance of school children across the country and also identify the dropouts.

Great move!! This would be very useful to find out the progress of every student and to take needed acts regarding the individual's improvement.
