Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Education, Coimbatore, was established by The GRD Trust in the academic year 2005-2006, in tune with the vision of Prof. G.R.Damodaran, whose cherished dream was to modernize the education of educators.
Over a period of ten years, dedicated to the cause of innovation in Education Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Education has made unparalleled contribution to the society by bringing out a new category of teachers who could generate and instil a good value system in the future generations while grooming them to meet the challenges posed by the era of evolving technological progress.
Our ardent mission is to groom educators, equipped with uptodate scientific knowledge and skills related to education, who will be creative, motivated, self-confident, self reliant and adept at modifying teaching strategies in tune with the changing scenario, without compromising on quality.
