Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education was established during the academic year 1995 –1996 with the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education ( NCTE) and approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and established Master of Education (M.Ed) in the academic year 2006 - 2007 with the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is a Co – Education College of Education.
The Aditanar Educational Institution, a registered society, administers it. Padmasree. Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan is the Founder of the Aditanar Educational Institution and Thiru.S.Balasubramania Adityan is the Chairman of our college. Land area of the college is 12.36 acres. The college is situated on Tirunelveli Road, 2 k.m. from Tiruchendur Bus stand / Railway station. Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu, INDIA.
