Dr Nandkumar Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Polytechnic (NYTP) offers a variety of diploma courses, both technical and vocational in nature. To begin with, NYTP provides various specialisation career courses for the students to select. Subsequently NYTP prepares our students for three years to build the capability within self, to start one’s own business and become an entrepreneur or get a decent job at a reputed place.

Another unique fact about our Polytechnic is that it is a vital part of the first Integrated Campus in Maharashtra which is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. An integrated campus enables students to avail the benefit and convenience to utilise all the resources from within the campus which includes engineering as well as management domains. In addition to this, our integrated campus has a portfolio of diploma, graduation and postgraduate engineering as well as management career courses and resources under one roof which our students can pursue and avail of, at one place.

A diploma in engineering at our polytechnic teaches a student all the fundamental concepts of engineering in selected specialized fields, such as electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer and IT engineering. Student schedules are packed with regular academic activities like lectures, practicals, skill tests, semester examinations, practical submissions etc. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are added to the academic activities for the students to get a feel of the industry environment and for their all round development. These activities include guest lectures, workshops, seminars, soft skill training, cultural activities and sports. The raw and unpolished students entering the college leave after three years as confident and self assured diploma holders.
