Duraimurugan College of Education has been given permission and recognition by SRC, NCTE, Bangalore, vide order No. F.SRO/NCTE/B.Ed/2006-2007/9909, Dt. 27/08/2007, to conduct one year B.Ed., course to offer Secondary Teacher Education programme and the name and style of Duraimurugan College of Education, Chittoor Main Road, Katpadi, Vellore, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, has been originally affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore and subsequently affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
